Uncut Poets with Rosie Jackson at 19.30 on 29th September at The Exeter Phoenix

Back from its summer break, with just enough room to squeeze itself into the Devon poetry calendar before the Exeter Poetry Festival, Uncut Poets returns to the Phoenix space they call The Workshop. Our guest this month is Rosie Jackson, whose first poetry collection ‘The Light Box’ was published by Cultured Llama in April; as well as poetry, she has written fiction and non-fiction (e.g.on the arts in health care), and leads workshops on memoir writing.

Back on the mixing desk (figuratively speaking) will be Liz Adams and Alasdair Paterson, and there are the usual 10 open mic spots of 5 minutes each. Anyone wishing to book one of these can contact Alasdair here on FB, at a.t.paterson@exeter.ac.uk or by phone at 07783 734523. Admission is £5 (£3 concessions and open mic) and there will be a bar quite close by.
