Uncut Poets at Exeter Phoenix on Thursday 29th January 2015 at 7.30pm with Ben Smith and Isabel Galleymore

Dazzle Ship

Uncut Poets, back in shape after festive overload, resumes its erratic progress on 29th January with two guest poets, currently or recently PhD students at Exeter University. Ben Smith‘s first chapbook, Sky Burials, pursues his interest in the poetry of landscape and the natural world; Isabel Galleymore is similarly concerned, in her collection Dazzle Ship, with metaphor, relationships and ecopoetics. Both are confident and engaging readers.

The evening, at 7.30pm in the Phoenix Black Box, will be co-ordinated by the old firm of Liz Adams and Alasdair Paterson. 10 open mic slots of 5 minutes each are available on a first come first served basis, by contacting Liz on 07887 600831. Admission is £5 (£3 concessions).
