All events in the Library will be taking place upstairs in the Music Room, which is the main venue for the Library’s ongoing Exeter Library Live Programme, which has featured writers like Hilary Mantel, John Connolly, Robert Goddard and Clare Morrell in the last year. The stairs to the Music Room are directly in front of the main reception desk of the library.
Apples & Snakes events will be taking place at Exeter Phoenix

More Fringe events, including Poetry Slam 2011, will take place in The BikeShed Theatre. BikeShed is located near the top of Fore Street, Exeter, underneath the BikeShed shop, in between the Mint Church and Exe Shed, opposite WalkAbout.

You can read more about the city here. We particularly recommend a visit to Exeter Cathedral while you are here.
The Bookshop for the festival is being supplied by Waterstone’s Exeter Roman Gate. You can find them here and they will be bringing a festival bookstore to Exeter Central Library.
Arriving by train
The nearest station to the Festival venues is Exeter Central Station. If you are arriving at Exeter St Davids, the venues are a short taxi ride and an even shorter train ride if you get a connection to Exeter Central (around two minutes). If you arrive at Exeter Central, turn left as you come out of the station to head in the venue direction. Take a left turn between the Museum and the Pitcher and Piano to go up to Gandy Street and The Phoenix. Exeter Central Library is right next door to The Phoenix.
